The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) and the National Council of Local Administrators (NCLA) have teamed up again in 2008 to bring educators and administrators the Best Practices Conference, October 1-3, Tucson, Arizona.
Headlining this year’s conference will be Roger Crawford, who is billed as “America’s Possibility Coach.”
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is the nation’s largest not-for-profit education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for successful careers. Founded in 1926, ACTE has more than 29,000 members including teachers, counselors and administrators at the middle school, high school and postsecondary levels.
Since 1943, the National Council of Local Administrators (NCLA) has been dedicated to improving, promoting and advancing the status of career and technical education at the local, state and national levels.
